• Vote For Your World Changer
  You can now vote for your World Changer and take part in our International Project. We want parents, children, families and everyone to take part.

  This week we have surveyed the children and their online habits so that parents can best support their children to stay safe on the internet.

  Our partners in Bachpan, India have been enjoying proposing and discussing their ideas for the World Changers project. Their vote will take place very soon.

  Who do you think has made the biggest changes to life on Earth? A scientist like Fleming? A technologist like Babbage? A campaigner like Malala? Or somebody else? We are taking part in a project this half term to vote for our Top 5 World Changers.
• French Pen Pal Letters
  Sacre Coeur School in Paris sent us some Christmas penpal letters which the children began to reply to today. School Council began by sending a thankyou email to the children in France, before Y5 and Y6 complete their returning letters this half term.
• Reverse Advent Calendar
  Children from School Council delivered the generous donations from school families to the Oak Church Food Bank this week. Thankyou to all our caring active citizens.
• Advent Maths
  Advent Maths continues in school with children looking at the daily numbers and thinking about how they can be made and how they can be represented.
• OFSTED - Southroyd continues to be a good school
  We are very pleased to let you know that you can now see the latest OFSTED report which was sent to school today. You can see the document from the website link below - it will also be available from the OFSTED website within 5 days.
