Owen and the soldier |
This book may be short however it is one of the best books I have ever read. 😃 It is interesting to see how one boy can do sooo much to save a stone statue ! It is also sad as Owen is so young and he looses his dad . |

Owen and the soldier |
I found this book quite sad. Owen is just young when his dad goes off to war in Syria. He never comes home. This really effects his mum and he makes friends with a stone soldier statue at the war memorial garden in memory of his late father. When he hears news that the crumbling statue is being removed to renovate the war memorial garden, he has to take action Owen is scared that he'll be left on his own again, but he can’t find the courage he needs to save the statue . At the reopening of the war memorial garden, Owen discovers that the crumbling statue has gone. While looking around the garden he finds out that statue has been repaired and moved to a new bench in the war memorial garden. He and his mum promise to visit the garden as often as possible |

The boy at the back of the class |
At first I found this book a bit boring however I kept going and suddenly found it really interesting. It teaches you everyone is different and no matter who you are or where you come from you can make friends. It was nice to see a group of friends stick up for a refugee and try to find his long lost family. |

The By At The Back Of The Class |
I like this book because it is a very adventurous one but I would never be as brave and bold as the characters in this book! It teaches you about the importance of respecting each other even if you have a different skin type. |

The girl who speaks Bear |
An a amazing book its about a girl who adapted into bear and was left at a bear cave. She was different to all the different villagers because she had fur on her arms and also legs however covered herself with clothes. She has no information bout her mother and father or her life when she was young |

This book is really good. It shows that even if others have different ideas does not mean you can't share your thoughts and opinions like Ella and Tick. I think it is a creative book that is really amazing!!! |
