Big Talk - How do we make decisions at Southroyd?
Yesterday was the International Day of Democracy and democracy is one of the key cooperative values of our school. In Big Talk we will be launching our next School Council and urging our children from Y2 to Y6 to join in, a key part in developing their Active Citizenship. Elections will be held on Wednesday October 3rd and in the meantime children will be able to suggest why they may make a good school councillor. We hope you will share in the big talk discussions and think about the role children can play in the running of the school, one of our key Investors in Pupils aims.
