As we are already in the Summer 2 half term, it won't be that long before the Summer holidays and time to keep up and extend those home reading habits. As you know from our school Read to Succeed program, there is a really firm link between the reading that a child does out of school and their ability to succeed in their schooling. We would remind parents to keep up developing those home reading habits and enjoy a book together. Our own data suggests that reading habits often drop during the long holidays, so more reason to instill those firm habits for life now! Remember, Read to Succeed!
